Shioi Construction Inc. was contracted to build the Waimea Canyon Middle School covered playcourt on the westside of Kauai. All of the site work, masonry, and concrete footings have been completed. New AC units in all existing buildings are installed. Once work on the metal building with sheathing on the roof and walls was completed, work commenced on the interior electrical and concrete at the stage, playcourt, and sidewalks around the building. The installation of the sound system, play equipment (basketball backstops and hoops and volleyball posts), fencing, and flooring completed our work. 
 
Shioi's work scope includes all of the concrete footings, slab, sidewalks, CMU and all finishes and play equipment.  Creative Partition Systems installed the drywall ceiling over the stage area.  Our subcontractors on this project include Hawaii Ventilation, Wasa Electric, Koga Engineering, Commercial Plumbing, Wellington Fence, Alii Landscaping, JD Painting, Inspired Play, Grace Pacific, and Koapaka.
