Shioi Construction was contracted for the Kauai Shores Hotel and Lava Lava Restaurant project. The work scope involved gutting the entire 12,530 sf building and rebuilding that included structural steel replacement, new exterior building envelope, new restaurant and kitchen, new lobby, new porte cochere, as well as new water, sewer, and electrical utilities. Shioi Construction coordinated temporary utilities for the front desk to remain operational during the construction. Furthermore, extensive design-assist services and coordination with the County of Kauai Building Department were provided to the client.
