Shioi Construction was contracted for the restoration of the fire damaged facilities at the Hanalei Bay Resort, once home to the legendary Bali Restaurant. The fire destroyed the entire heart of the resort that was comprised of the restaurant, resort lobby, staff offices, and hospitality areas. Shioi was tasked as the design/build contractor to rebuild the facilities including demolition, extensive structural retrofit, and the complete exterior and interior buildout of the resort’s lobby, hospitality areas, administration offices, and restrooms. Working concurrently on the resort property, Shioi Construction also completed the renovation of the Hanalei Bay Resort’s VOA timeshare units.
