Mid Pacific Institue Elementary School
Construct a new elementary school as a design-assist, fast-track delivery system. The project required installation of new access roads, fire-lane and bus turn-around roadway as well as completely new underground utilities. The utilities included: domestic water, fire water, sewer, storm drainage system including deceleration structures, primary and secondary electrical, telephone and data distribution systems, chill water system with pump station and irrigation backbone. The campus contains 29,750 sq. ft. of classrooms, bathrooms, administration/cafeteria and support structures. Construction included demolition, sitework, utilities, concrete metal framing, gypsum drywall, acoustical ceilings, flooring, painting, plaster, architectural woodwork, AC system, plumbing, fire sprinkler, and electrical and communication systems. Notable items included recycling concrete rubble as base course and total 7.5 month construction duration.
