Shioi Construction’s drywall division Creative Partitions Systems (CPS) recently completed work on the Kapiolani Medical Center Dining Facility. It is a 26,100 square foot loft space situated on the second floor of the newly built extension of Kapiolani Women's and Children's Medical Center. This project included a new state-of-the-art kitchen, dining area, nutrition offices, conference room, 24-hour Starbucks, and an enclosed lanai with a kids' play area. CPS' work scope consisted of light gauge metal framing, gypsum board, DFS ceilings, building insulation, acoustic ceiling tile, and fiber reinforced plastic kitchen panels.
